Concentrated peach in dash strength is unusual, and a fruit liqueur brings the flavor with sugar and volume the recipe did not plan for. A dash of an aromatic bitters plus a drop of the liqueur is the practical compromise.

Peach bitters is an unsweetened, high-proof flavoring dosed in dashes; peach liqueur is sweet, weaker and poured in measures. Both taste of peach, but a measure of the liqueur where a dash was meant makes the drink sweeter, longer and softer — and the sugar has to come off somewhere else.
Storage
Stone-fruit aroma is delicate and the alcohol around it is not doing anything to protect it. Nothing spoils, but the peach retreats over a year toward a general sweet-spice bitterness. Keep it out of the light and buy for turnover.
