Bourbon and peach liqueur
Mix three parts bourbon to two parts peach liqueur. Add a dash of aromatic bitters per drink for the spice.
Straight bourbon
Dry and strong, with no sugar, so the drink comes out stronger and drier. Add a little syrup or peach liqueur.
Description
Southern Comfort began on a bourbon base and later switched to neutral spirit with only a trace of whiskey. Since 2017 it uses whiskey again, at least in part. Old recipes were written for a different bottle.
