Homemade truffle gin

Slice a fresh truffle straight into a bottle of gin. Let it sit for about a week before straining.

Standard London dry gin

Swap it in straight. The drink stays great but loses that specific earthy truffle note.

Truffle-infused vodka

A last resort. It brings the truffle but lacks juniper, robbing the drink of those essential gin botanicals.

Truffle oil

Won't work. It floats greasily on top, and nearly all of it relies on synthetic flavorings.
