Blanc Quinquina is a French aromatized wine, fortified and flavored with cinchona bark (quinine), herbs, and spices. Originating in the 19th century, it was often enjoyed as an aperitif and valued for its supposed medicinal properties. It provides a gentler, more floral bitterness than traditional vermouths, making it a bridge between aperitif wines and vermouth. Store sealed and refrigerated once opened.
Floral, bitter-sweet, lightly herbal.
Ideal in aperitif cocktails like the White Negroni. Can also be sipped chilled with citrus or used as a vermouth substitute.
