Canadian whisky is usually a light-bodied blend: a near-neutral base whisky, mostly from corn, with smaller amounts of fuller flavoring whiskies, often rye.
ABV40–45%Most bottles sit at 40%, plenty for the long, easy drinks it is built for.
Substitutes for Canadian blended whisky
The best swap, in the same amount, especially in stirred drinks. It gives a drier, more peppery drink.
