
Bourbon is a distinctly American whiskey, legally required to be made with at least 51% corn and aged in new charred oak barrels. It emerged in Kentucky in the 18th century and became synonymous with American whiskey culture. Its caramel sweetness and oak richness make it versatile for sipping or mixing.
