Green melon liqueur is a sweet, melon-flavored liqueur defined by its bright green color.

Substitutes for Green melon liqueur
Another melon liqueur
Works one for one. Midori is 20–21% with about 220 g of sugar per liter, while Bols and De Kuyper are 15–17%. Those two make the drink slightly weaker.
Pale melon liqueurs
Works for flavor but loses the color. Midori's green comes from added coloring, not from the fruit.
Green liqueurs
A green liqueur of another fruit gives the color without the melon.
Storage
The color is a dye, and daylight fades it. A bottle left on a bright back bar drifts from bright green toward yellow-brown over a season. The melon aroma fades with time as well. Keep it in a cupboard or under the bar, not on display.
