Cocktails with Pink gin
Pink gin names two things: the classic cocktail of gin with a dash of aromatic bitters, and a modern bottled gin flavored and colored with berry or fruit.

Substitutes for Pink gin
London dry gin with berry syrup
Bottled pink gins are sweetened. Add half a barspoon of strawberry or raspberry syrup per 30 ml of dry gin to bring back the sweetness and color.
A backup. It is completely unsweetened, so your drink ends up much drier and paler.
Classic pink gin cocktail
Do not confuse them. If the recipe means the classic cocktail, use any gin with a dash or two of Angostura bitters and skip the syrup entirely.
