Plain vodka with raspberries
Muddle a few fresh berries with plain vodka and fine-strain. It brings a fresh fruit flavor instead of a commercial flavoring.
Mix three parts plain vodka to one part liqueur for a slightly sweeter drink. Poured on its own, the liqueur yields a weak, overly sweet result.
Storage
The raspberry flavor fades once the bottle is open. Over months it stays fruity but tastes less clearly of raspberry. Keep it closed and out of the light, and buy a size you will finish.
