Vanilla liqueur is a sweetened spirit flavored with vanilla, usually from cured vanilla pods or vanilla extract.

Substitutes for Vanilla liqueur
Homemade blend
A perfect fix. Mix equal parts vanilla syrup and plain vodka to land right around 20% alcohol.
Licor 43
It runs stronger than a typical vanilla liqueur, so use about two-thirds of the measure.
Galliano Vanilla
Another option, though you should expect strong hints of anise and mint in the glass.
This base is almost completely unsweetened. To fix the balance, stir in half a barspoon of syrup for every 10 ml.
Won't work on its own. It adds the sugar but skips the alcohol completely. Build it with vodka instead.
