Becherovka is a Czech herbal liqueur created in 1807 in Karlovy Vary. Originally marketed as a digestive tonic, it contains a secret blend of about 20 herbs and spices. It’s often consumed chilled as a shot or mixed with tonic in the famous “Beton” cocktail.
Herbal, spicy, bittersweet.
Traditionally sipped neat as a digestif, but also excellent in spritzes or as a herbal accent in whiskey and gin cocktails.
