Another German amaro
Kuemmerling swaps straight in. It is a bit sweeter, but the difference is small.
Most are sweeter and weaker than Jägermeister, and measure for measure the drink follows. Cut any syrup by about 4 ml per 40 ml.
An exception, with far less sugar. With it, add about a barspoon of 2:1 syrup per 40 ml.
Underberg
Not a swap. Nearly unsweetened, it makes the drink much drier, stronger and more bitter.
Description
Labels may grade the style by bitterness: süß is sweet, Halbbitter sits in the middle, and Bitter is drier and more bitter.
