Aged Jamaican rum and white overproof

Mix a 43–46% aged Jamaican rum half and half with Wray & Nephew. The funk stays, with a little less oak.

Standard-proof aged Jamaican rum

Use the same amount. The Jamaican character stays and only the strength drops. With just 10 ml of rum, the difference barely shows.

Overproof rum from Guyana or Trinidad

Matches the strength, but the high-ester Jamaican funk is gone.
