Bourbon and cherry liqueur
The best fix is building it yourself. Mix three parts bourbon with one part liqueur, like Cherry Heering. It lands slightly stronger than bottled versions.
Poured straight, it is much stronger and completely dry. Stir in a barspoon of cherry liqueur to bring back some of the fruit.
Won't work alone. It is far too sweet, weak, and thin. You have to blend it with whiskey.
