Cocktails with Galliano L’Autentico liqueur
Galliano L’Autentico is a bright yellow Italian herbal liqueur made from thirty botanicals. Its signature is anise with sweet vanilla.

How it's used
In a small measure it is an accent, and a little too much quickly takes over. In equal-part drinks it is one of the main flavors: the Golden Cadillac pairs it with white crème de cacao and cream. It is also floated on top of a Harvey Wallbanger.
Substitutes for Galliano L’Autentico liqueur
Galliano Vanilla
Works in the same amount, but the drink is lower in alcohol and the anise and herbs move to the background.
Sambuca and Licor 43
Comes closer. Mix them in equal parts and use the same total amount, for a sweeter, lighter drink without the herbal layer.
Description
The vanilla goes in separately from the herbal infusion, and the bright yellow is coloring rather than saffron.
