Irish Coffee

• Irish whiskey30 ml
• Brown sugar syrup10 ml
• Double espresso (hot)60 ml
• Double cream/heavy cream30 ml

Garnish

• Coffee beans

Instructions for 1 serving

1. Pre-heat a toddy glass
2. Fill with hot water and let it stand
3. Dry shake (without ice) Double cream/heavy cream 30 ml
4. Discard the water from the glass
5. Pour in Irish whiskey 30 ml
6. Carefully light the whiskey with a long match or lighter
7. Wait 15–20 seconds and cover with a saucer to extinguish the flame
8. Add Brown sugar syrup 10 ml and Double espresso 60 ml to the glass
9. Stir lightly
10. Float the Double cream/heavy cream over the back of a bar spoon
11. Garnish with three coffee beans
