The Passion Fruit Margarita is a shaken Margarita of reposado tequila, triple sec, lime and agave syrup with fresh passion fruit pulp, served up.

Instructions for 1 serving
- Pre-chill a glass
- Cut a Passion fruit 1 pc in half and scoop out the flesh from one half into your shaker (retain the other half for garnish)
- Shake the remaining ingredients with ice: Tequila reposado 45 mlTriple sec 20 mlLime juice 25 mlAgave syrup 10 ml
- Fine strain into the chilled glass
- Garnish with half a passion fruit
Tips
- Scoop passion fruit pulp straight into the shaker, seeds and all, then fine-strain so only the smooth juice reaches the glass.
- Passion fruit gets more or less tart depending on ripeness, so taste before straining and adjust the agave syrup slightly.

The Passion Fruit Margarita is one of the many fruit twists on the Margarita, adding fresh passion fruit to the tequila, triple sec, and lime base for a sweet-tart, tropical drink. The Margarita's own origin is disputed among several Mexican and American claimants from the 1930s and 1940s.
