The Fruitini is not a single invented drink but a style: vodka-based cocktails built on fresh fruit juice and a touch of sugar syrup, served martini-style. The Blackberry Fruitini applies the same formula to muddled blackberries.
This style of fruity "Neo-Martinis" emerged in London during the 1990s and became particularly associated with the Met Bar, a fashionable hotel bar of that era with a celebrity membership.
