Blackberry Agave Caipirinha

The Blackberry Agave Caipirinha is a Caipirinha with fruit: lime and blackberries muddled in the glass, then cachaça and agave syrup over crushed ice.

Instructions for 1 serving
- Pre-chill a glass
- Cut half a Fresh lime into wedges and drop into the glass
- Muddle gently
- Add Fresh blackberries 6 pcs and muddle again
- Add Cachaça 60 ml and Agave syrup 30 ml, and stir to combine
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir
- Top with more crushed ice and serve with a stirrer (but no straws)
Tips
- Cut half the lime into small wedges; they give up juice and oil evenly under the muddler, with no need to pulverize the peel.
History
The Blackberry Agave Caipirinha replaces the traditional sugar of the Caipirinha with agave syrup and muddles in fresh blackberries for a fruited version of the original.
