- Shake all ingredients with ice: London dry gin 45 mlElderflower liqueur 20 mlHerbal liqueur (e.g., Green Chartreuse) 10 mlLime juice 15 ml

Tips
- Shake hard and fine strain. With only 15 ml of lime against two liqueurs, a cold drink with enough water in it keeps the sweetness in check.
History
Gypsy No. 1 was created in 2007 by bartender Dominic Venegas at Bourbon & Branch in San Francisco. Venegas devised it as a lighter, more floral take on the Last Word, swapping elderflower liqueur in for the maraschino while keeping the gin, green Chartreuse, and lime juice, and he himself described the drink as a homage to that earlier gin classic.
