The Buona Sera Shot is an equal-parts shaken shooter of amaretto, white rum, and coffee liqueur, fine-strained into a chilled shot glass. Almond sweetness leads, coffee liqueur adds a roasted bitter edge, and the rum warms the short, syrupy finish — a quick after-dinner shot.

- Pre-chill a glass
- Shake all ingredients with ice: Amaretto liqueur 15 mlWhite rum 15 mlCrème de Café liqueur 15 ml
- Fine strain into the chilled glass
Tips
- Shake all three equal-part liqueurs hard with ice for about 10 seconds, since their syrupy viscosity resists blending and needs vigorous agitation to fully combine.
- Fine-strain through a mesh sieve as well as the Hawthorne, catching any ice shards so the shot pours smooth and clear.
- Chill the shot glass in the freezer for a few minutes beforehand, since this equal-parts mix has no mixer to offset warmth and tastes best ice-cold.
- Measure each of the three 15 ml liqueurs precisely, as any imbalance quickly skews the coffee-almond-rum flavor in such a small total volume.
